AIGA DALLAS CHAPTER MARCH EVENT

Planning on attending the AIGA Dallas Chapter March meeting this Wednesday. If you're a designer in the DFW area, you should definitely check it out. Alexander Flores, the art director for the Dallas Observer is speaking.

DSVC MARCH MEETING

Went to the DSVC March meeting last night to hear Weiden + Kennedy Art Director Jim Lasser speak. He had alot of interesting things to say about design expectations and motivations. Gonna take the advice and start some projects today for MYSELF. Keep checking for some self-inspired illustration work! Be sure to check out is bio at the DSVC website also:

MOVING TO DALLAS!

Been a long time since the last post (my apologies!).

So the wife and I are in Dallas this weekend making a final decision on the living arangements. I got a brand new job and we will be moving to the big "D" in about a week or so! More on this later!

BACK FROM THE DSVC STUDENT SHOW

So this weekend was AWESOME! I went to the Fifth Annual DSVC Student Show in Dallas, TX. There, I handed out the preview issue of DESIGNERD to potential employers at the job fair, and others that I just wanted to leave a promo with. I got alot of good feedback on my folio too!

I will be sending out followups soon, and don't forget to check back for the release of DESIGNERD #1, available later this month! The preview issue that was handed out at DSVC will also be available for download on my website soon (if you really want to collect them all).
